Welcome to the National Association
of School Nurses for the Deaf

The NASND is a non-profit organization founded in 1992. 
The Biennial National Conference provides workshops on topics 
important to nurses working with Deaf students, and opportunities
for networking and meeting in regional groups to promote professional
support and decrease workplace isolation.

Regional Conferences are developing and are held every two years,
alternating with the National Conference.

The NASND newsletter is published up to four times a year and
includes National and Regional news, school and personal news
submitted by members, and health articles.

Regular Membership is open to nurses currently working with Deaf
students in a school setting.  Associate Membership available to
anyone interested in furthering the health education of Deaf students
and the mission of NASND.
